Fees & Gas

Transparency is core to the Oraclyst Protocol. We ensure users understand exactly what they are paying for every transaction. The cost of a trade consists of three components.

1. The Network Gas Fee (Base)

Oraclyst is built on the Base blockchain (Layer 2). This ensures that transactions are extremely fast and cheap.

  • Cost: Typically ranges from $0.01 to $0.05 per transaction.

  • Paid in: ETH (on Base).

2. The Protocol Fee

Oraclyst charges a small service fee to maintain the Smart Router, the AI Semantic Engine, and the Virtual Liquidity Vaults.

  • Rate: 0.10% (10 basis points) on the notional value of the trade.

  • Note: This fee is waived for users who hold a specific tier of Oraclyst governance tokens or NFT passes (details in the Governance section).

3. The Underlying Venue Fee

Oraclyst acts as a proxy. If the underlying venue charges a fee, this cost is passed through to the user. The Smart Router includes this in the "Effective Price" calculation so there are no surprises.

  • Polymarket: Generally 0% trading fee, but may have a 2% redemption fee on winning shares (depending on the market creator).

  • Kalshi: Variable trading fees embedded in the price.

  • Limitless: Standard swap fees (typically 0.3% to 1.0% depending on the pool).

Fee Example Calculation: You buy $100 worth of SOTs routed to Polymarket.

  • Gas: $0.02

  • Protocol Fee (0.1%): $0.10

  • Underlying Fee: $0.00

  • Total Cost: $100.12
